Hey Jeff!
Thanks for the compliments! Much appreciated as always! However, if you read my answers, I think you will see that not making an OBVIOUS impact on the game was a gigantic part of my strategy. The facts are that I did have a huge impact on this game, affecting eliminations to the final 5 of this game, but I wanted that impact to be hidden and not-so-obvious, so that it would benefit me in the end. No one is going to want to take me to the final 2 if they think I did a lot in this game.
I'm fine with people thinking I did nothing in this game as long as it pays off if I can make the final 2 and explain that I did in fact do a lot more than people thought and had a big impact on the game. And this is just what I did. It doesn't matter in the end if you did a lot in this game, people recognize it, and you get third, fourth, or fifth place. Part of my strategy to get here was in fact to look like I didn't do anything. But in reality, I did do stuff, and I did a lot.
And now I have the chance for it to pay off.
Actually, although I was aiming to get you out over Russ, this was in fact true. I wasn't positive you would be leaving over Russ, so I wasn't going to admit per say that I wanted you out until I had to. If you stayed in the game, I still wanted you to potentially be on my side. For you to stay, the vote needed to be 4-2 in your favor, and I had convinced enough people to evict you to make it 4-2 in Russ's favor. As we know, in a tie, it was said that you would have been evicted.
I did tell you I would keep you if the "votes were there", because if you got the vote to be 4-2, I absolutely would have voted to keep you. There was no point to do otherwise at that point because it would just affect my position in this game negatively. So, I was not lying. I did, in fact, wait til last minute and the votes were solidified to cast my vote. And if you did gather up the votes to keep you, I would have tagged along. I'm not one to "vote with the majority", but in a case like this, where it would do nothing but benefit me to do so, I would absolutely have done this. I would have told Russ why I was doing what I was doing beforehand so that was cleared up and then did what I had to do.
I know what I said was "shady", but I wasn't technically lying.
I would DEFINITELY have to say convincing enough people to take Dan out of this game over Jordan. As i've said time and time again, Dan was a huge threat to me. He had a lot of allies, he was good at competitions, and he had the game that everyone acknowledged was good and would be worthy of the win if he made the finale, but no one was doing anything to stop him. On top of all of this, he was playing this game TOO HARD from Day 1, which was actually his flaw.
Also, in doing this, Jordan stayed, which would be beneficial to my game later on, as when my ideal Final 5 hit, she would want me around over Brian and Russ, and Brian and Russ would be targeting her and trying to get her out, as she was a huge competition threat.
I would take Dan and put him on the Jury because I think most people would agree that he deserved a spot on the Jury and got screwed out of it. I would replace him with Jerry simply because I don't think Jerry established the relationships he needed to get ahead with people, and there were times where he lied to people and we all talked about it and just realized what he was doing (making deals when he needed to stay, as an example). On top of this, Jerry didn't win a competition in this game, and i'm not sure if he was throwing or just genuinely couldn't win one. Whereas Jerry does deserve his spot on the Jury (he obviously worked for it), if I had to choose one person's spot for Dan to fill, I would have to choose his.
1) Brian ~
Vegas ~ Diane (BB5) ~ I would say Brian played a lot like Diane from Big Brother 5, which is a good thing, compared to her abysmal and lackluster performance in All-Stars. She was a great player, decent at competitions, and she was in two separate good alliances. (He has one with me and Russ, and another with Angie). They both got 3rd place, both played the game extremely smart. However, in the end, they both had one downfall. Brian thought that Angie would take him to the Final 2, and Diane thought that Drew would take her to the final 2, and both were wrong.
2) Jordan ~ Janelle (BB6/7) ~ I don't think there's any question that if Jordan related to anyone in the real game it would be Janelle. Blondes
no i'm just kidding. They both played strategic, developed good alliances to get them ahead, were competition (especially Veto) whores
, and I think while they had their enemies, they both had a huge chance of winning if they made the finals. The only difference between them is Jordan got 4th place instead of 3rd.
3) Russell ~ Crazy James (BB9) ~ This is kind of a strange comparison at first, but if you look deeper into it, I don't think it is. First off, both of them caused a bit of controversy in the house for some things they said and who they were. Secondly, both were ig targets in the game for how threatening they seemingly were to the others still in the game should they make it to the end. Lastly, both were strong solid threats in the competitions and close to those that they made their allies. However, in the end, both were on the outside of an alliance (in this event, everyone at final 5 was connected with each other in some way, with the exception of Jordan and Bri), which was Russell's downfall.
4) Michele ~ Michele (BB11) ~ I would have to say that Michele actually does remind me of Michele from the show. Neither were really amazing at competitions, but I think both still managed to shock the others in just how strong they were willing to play and the behind-the-scenes stuff they did. Michele was willing to say whatever she had to say and make any deals that would allow her to advance in this game, just like in the show. However, both didn't have as strong a connection with some others as the other houseguests did, and that was the downfall of both of them in the end.
5) Memphis ~ Matt (BB12) ~ Believe it or not, I would say Memphis is a bit like Matt. Not in that he was an egotistical self-absorbed jerk that claimed to have a wife with a deadly illness
, but because he had a solid alliance and kind of got screwed at the final 7. He was a huge competition threat, and he also thought his alliance would stay true to him. On top of all of this, he wasn't afraid to do what he wanted and shake things up in the house, as shown by his Nomination Ceremony at the final 9. I don't think they were exactly alike, but i'd have to say they were pretty similar.
6) Jerry ~
Fat Gerry ~ You didn't wash your hands before making the salad~ Ollie (BB10) ~ Ollie and Jerry were both very outspoken and said whatever they wanted to say. They had tight connections, but unfortunately those connections left the house too early for them to benefit from them. They both didn't win any competitions during their stay in the house but lasted a decent amount of time, and both weren't nominated too much until their eventual eviction from the game.
7) Jeff ~ Roddy (BB3) ~ Take this as a compliment because I was a huge Roddy fan lol. Your reasoning is a bit different, because you guys don't relate exactly in terms of how your games turned out, but I do think you guys are similar. You're both two extremely smart and strategic guys when it comes to the game, and you both put your all into the game and did your best to make it through it. You developed some god allies, but just didn't have the votes to stay in the end. On top of this, Danielle thought you both were "the devil".
haha kidding.
