Angie doesn't deserve to win because Angie takes credit for more than she should take credit for. Granted she got through a lot of the competition without being nominated for eviction, but she was close to being nominated a few times, and fails to realize part of the reason she wasn't was because other people stuck up for her. In addition, I feel she takes the credit for a lot of the evictions she was also not responsible for. She was a strong player, and she tried to play both sides, but again, people did know where she stood and got a hold of where her loyalty was. While people may have always been asking "Where does Pickle Head stand?", I think people don't realize that that is exactly what I wanted. I did not want people to know where I stood because if they did, then I would have been deemed choosing a side, and may have been evicted. I would have rather been "mysterious" than for people to know which side I was on, as was the case with Angie. She claims that we had similar strategies - which we did - but she also claims she played that strategy better, which I don't think she did. She wasn't as close to some others as she thought; they were in fact closer to me. Case in point, at the Final 9, Jordan voted to evict Russ,
NOT[/b] Jeff contrary to popular belief. However, Angie still believed that Jordan had done otherwise, whereas I knew the truth. In the end, I was the one that played both sides better. Russell and Jordan were closer with me, and in the end, I think the only one closer to Angie was Brian.
Angie also thinks she was in the best position possible having me in final 3, but I think she fails to realize that had it been me that won this final HoH, I would have evicted her over Brian at the Final 3, because I thought I would have had the better chance at winning this game with him here than with her here. Meanwhile, I knew she would take me to finals over her good friend, and she did.
If I could nullify any one jury vote, it would probably have to be that of Memphis's, simply because me and Memphis did not get the opportunity to talk too much in this game, and I feel that because of that I may not have as much of a chance at his vote. In addition, when me and Memphis did have any association in this game, it was mostly during the time when I was going after him / going to evict him, which probably doesn't bode well for me.
Love this question, because in no way shape or form was Pickle Head my number one character choice! In fact, he was my eighth choice, so I had seven people ranked above him, with #1-3 being Jeff, Memphis, and Russell, in that order. As you can tell by that Top 3, I kind of picked people I liked/could relate to, but also people I hadn't had the chance to play as in any other ORG before. Jeff and Memphis are somewhat like me in the way they are social with others, but also in the way they joke around with a big sense of humor / sarcasm. However, I am so glad I played as Pickle Head in the end. His sense of humor is even closer to mine, and looking at it, I made him my own as far as a character goes! Also, he wore the banana suit, and as the resident vegetable/fruit wearing player of the URTV series, it's only natural.
My three biggest targets in this game were:
1 ~ Dan. Dan was a huge target to me because Dan was someone that I could not have around. I knew he was in good with a lot of other people and I also knew that while I wasn't an immediate target of his, that if he stayed around for the long-haul I would take the fall for it. I needed to make sure he was evicted from the game as soon as I could once we made the merge, and I did. Dan was very social, had those on his side, and was a huge competition threat on top of it all. Dan reminded me a lot of Nakomis from last season in that almost everyone acknowledged that he was good at the game and had a huge shot at winning it, but no one was doing anything about it.
2 ~ Memphis. Memphis was a target simply because it was so late in the game and we hadn't developed as big of a bond as I had with others in the game. He was also pretty good at a lot of competitions and that concerned me, particularly because I knew he had bigger allies than me and would target me eventually. Being so late in the game, I needed him out to advance myself in the game.
3~ Ronnie. We just didn't get along from the start, at least from my end of the relationship. Ronnie just didn't mesh well with me, whether it be socially, or any other way. He lied to me about voting to evict Michelle when it was a blow-out vote, and ever since then, when he had no reason to lie about it, I didn't like him much personally, either. I was very glad to have gotten him out of the house.
1 ~ Jeff -> Responsible for his elimination: Me. I remember the round Jeff was evicted that it was a tough choice for everyone. Jerry was voting to keep him and pushing hard for others to do so as well. Jordan openly told me she couldn't do it. Meanwhile, Angie was undecided on the decision. Myself and Brian agreed to vote to evict him, as did Michele. With these 3 votes, I pushed hard for Angie to do the same. Angie pretty much told me she would only vote Jeff is the votes were there and that she didn't necessarily want to vote for Jeff, but in the end, she was pushed to vote for him, especially because of the fact that in the end, if it was a tie anyway, Memphis said he would keep Russ and evict Jeff. Therefore, to take credit for that eviction, is a bit ridiculous.
2. Jerry ~ Responsible for his eviction: Jordan. I actually really wanted Memphis to go this round as I won PoV to stop him from winning it and also promised Jerry I would keep him. It was the plan and everything, and everyone agreed. As you all may remember, this was the round I got the flu, so I pretty much slept throughout the whole round.
When I logged back on, Jordan had convinced everyone else to vote for Jerry over Memphis, including Russ, Brian, and Michele. Personally, I still wanted Memphis out over Jerry (for many reasons, not limited to that Memphis was very close to Jordan and Angie, he was good at competitions, etc.), but it was just too late into the round to do anything about it. Even Russ was convinced it was the better decision at that point. Reluctantly and regretfully, I voted to evict Jerry.
3. Memphis ~ Person responsible for his eviction: Me. I was set on voting Memphis out over Michele this round, point blank, period. Russell said the same, and when I logged on, Angie told me Russ had switched his vote. I don't know if this was an attempt to get me to switch my vote or what, but I immediately went to Russ and played the "guilt trip" card, as well as the "common sense" card. "How could you switch your vote without even talking to me about it?", I asked, all while telling him it was a dumb decision to vote out Memphis, from reasons that Michele was a lot less of a threat to the fact that Brian would be pissed if we switched the vote on him again as we had when we got Dan evicted over Jordan (Brian made it clear that he wanted Memphis out that week). Because I was set on it, Russ evicted Memphis as well, and Jordan and Angie followed suit, seeing that it would be useless to do otherwise.
4.) Michele ~ Person responsible for her eviction: Jordan. It was somewhat Angie's deals that kept her here during this round However, she wasn't as safe as she thought, as people (myself and Jordan) were actually thinking about evicting her. I felt out Jordan on the scenario to see where she truly stood on the situation before making my decision, and when I saw that Jordan settled on Michele, I did the same. I didn't mention it because I didn't want the information leaking out there to be used against me, but I was thinking of evicting Angie this round as well. Jordan ultimately decided my vote to keep Angie in the end.
5.) Russell ~ Person responsible for his eviction: Jordan, again. By putting me up against him, it was a smart move, because she knew it would lead to his eviction, and it did.
6.) Jordan ~ Person responsible for her eviction: Brian. Pretty easy to say why, Brian did amazing in the Veto competition this round, won it, took himself off, and evicted Jordan. He did what he could to put himself in the best possible position come final 3, or so he thought.
7.) Brian ~ Person responsible for his eviction: Angie. Angie was the one that evicted him, so in the end, this was her decision. However, I had some play in it. By keeping up the relationship I did with Angie all game to insure she would take me to the Final 2 in the end, and by playing up that I would be the easier one to beat in the end, she chose me, so I did have some influence on the decision. However, the sole vote was hers, so she gets the credit for it.
Four MOST deserving:
1 ~ Myself. I played a very good game. I did whatever it took to get here. I developed two alliances that were on OPPOSITE sides of the fence and convinced them to work together to get to the Final 5 with all of them (even though there were points where they weren't working together). I showed solid influence in the game and got people to genuinely like me and want to keep me around over others.
2 ~ Jordan. Jordan was a competition beast. She is such a sweetheart that she gets people to like her and want to keep her in the game, regardless of if she is a threat to them or not. And in the end, she almost went on a competition run to the finale. She put her heart into this game and got shafted so close to the end. She fought her heart out to get to even this point and I don't see how she could be considered not an All-Star.
3 ~ Russell. Russell stepped up big-time by nominating two key players in this game at the Final 11 (SBB drama aside). In doing so, everyone thought Russell was toast at the Final 10. However, he made the deals and alliances necessary to get ahead, and was also another certified competition threat. When compared to me and Brian, Russell was always the "threatening" one out of the alliance. While this was somewhat due to the strategies that both myself and Brian had adopted, it was also due to Russ's own doing.
4 ~ Angie. Angie also deserves to not only be where she is, but a spot as an All-Star. Much like me, she did play both sides and develop the deals she needed to to get ahead. She was also genuinely liked and it helped her out in some scenarios.
The four in the final 9 least deserving of All-Stars:
I guess naturally that leaves the four left, in no particular order.
1 ~ Jeff: Jeff relied too much on the relationships he had with some others, and in the end, that is what screwed him. Some of those "others" weren't even willing to keep him when it came down to the clutch scenario of needed them. While two close people did vote to keep him (Jordan and Jerry), other people he thought he could count on didn't. Had he made specific deals with some others, it may have gotten him further.
2 ~ Jerry: Jerry said himself that he realized he wasn't playing the game that some others were, and he switched his game up to do so, but he didn't do it soon enough. He sometimes rubbed people the wrong way, and in trying to get people to do what he wanted, didn't use a strong enough argument (as when he tried to get me to keep Dan over Jordan). In addition, he sometimes lied where it wasn't necessary, and promised people too many deals that he couldn't keep (at his eviction).
3 ~ Michele: You played a decent game, but I think what it came down to in the end was that you didn't establish the relationship with people that others had, which I think you can even accept. You didn't have a lot of time due to college life and college work (which is completely understandable, trust me, I know
) and it affected your game in the end.
4 ~ Brian: The only reason Brian is here is because you didn't give me another spot to put in the Top 4 All-Stars. He actually does deserve an All-Star spot in my opinion, but when it came down to comparing his to the other four labeled up above, I had to leave him out.
Let's see. Well, I was your first friend and you said that meant a lot to you, so I don't think I was trashed as much as some others, but i'll tell you what I think
was said.
You probably said I was floating, maybe that I wasn't doing as much as others, because it seems to be the popular opinion lol.
You probably threw something in there about how I didn't win any competitions, how I just sucked, because it seemed that way.
Maybe something about me not being around much during that period where I was bogged down with schoolwork?
Pretty much any of this stuff is what I would figure, hopefully nothing about my jokes not being funny.
We talked a lot and honestly towards that point where it was almost your eviction, I felt that connection we had in the beginning of the game. You're a cool person and I feel that I did develop a connection with you over the course of this game that I appreciate. I think you recognize that I played a good game and did what I had to do to get ahead, and I hope after all of my answers to your questions and the questions of others, I will earn your vote.
Thanks, Michele!
