i didnt understand the 10 minute thing , but i still believe michele wins because even if she had a few lists written out in another IM, its her prerogative and u cant penalize her for it when it wasnt her fault
the only thing u can penalize her for is not writing out the names in separate IMs, but she should have been warned of it when she did it the first time... so its definitely a grey area.

your penalizing everyone else if you give her the win. You're giving her extra time to look at the pic. You're only seeing one side of it and that is the side that it was Britti's fault and not Michele's fault. The other side is Michele is getting extra time.

Basically, you can't just give her an advantage because it was out of her control. She obviously didn't understand the rules anyways having "April" and "Laura" in her lists

but it doesnt matter if she has an advantage when its not her fault she got it to begin with and u definitely cant add up britti's calculating to the time.

nowhere did it say time would be deducted. I just did it to see, but start to finish jeff took 5 mins. start to finish michele took 10. During those times Michele was doing it wrong with April/Laura in her lists and not having them separate i-ms. we'll just let Kc do what he feels is best

I still stand by my opinion that its evident Michele used the time Britti calculated to form her list into one i-m. it's impossible she had that list already made when she'd of have to seen the picture to put them in a certain order. THAT time should be added on

if he did it while i was counting it up, and he realized he had certain ones wrong, he should have pasted the corrected list to me while i was grading then... technically if he had the time to get it done and was just waiting until i posted his score and he KNEW that he got some wrong and fixed it up then that time shoudl be counted... at least that is my thought.

in the past, the "calculating" time was always taken off, therefore u cant make assumptions on what michele was doing during the time.

In this competition, I will give you a replica Memory Wall, however the order will be messed around with and each person will be hidden behind various Photoshop filters. All current houseguests will make an appearance in this wall. Your job is to list each person in order from left to right, top to bottom. If you're wrong, I will tell you how many you have right and you must start again. The person who has the fastest time will win the Golden Power of Veto.

obviously this is the only way to avoid copy/pasting a list, but its not there.
in my opinion, its completely fair game that michele used her time to figure it out.

i think that it's keep the time or deduct the "calculating" time... there is no in between. looking at past games and from what i remember, he always deducted the time he took to say: right or wrong.

well just cuz u can get more than just one chance and u have to wait for the host to tell u how many u had right.
the issue is that when britti hosted the challenge for michele, she took longer to tell her how many she got right than when taylor did it with jeff.
so its difficult to decide whether the "calculating" time should remain or if it should be removed.... when michele obviously used the extra time to pre-write them whereas jeff didnt really have the time to do it.
and he wrote them in separate posts when michele didnt [but it was never stated how to type it out so technically, she didnt break any rules]

Ok admittedly I didn't read this whole thread but I think jeff should win. I don't agree with subtracting time while the host is grading. I know when I do competitions like this, I'm looking at the picture and figuring out mistakes I made the whole time and look for the hosts' respond in the box on the bottom right corner. So time should never be stopped as anyone smart enough is going to be continuing anyway.
