 There's still a few more days until the first Head of Household competition so I thought I would take this time to introduce one of the upcoming twists of URTV9 - the Big Brother store. What it is and what it's doing in the social grounds... I'll get to in a bit. First I'd like to announce an intertwined feature to the Store. Making it's return from URTV5 - the Big Brother Money System. Each week, all of you will have a chance to earn money. Winning Head of Household will earn you money. Evicted houseguests will give their earned money to someone else. And the most common way to earn - weekly food competitions. While trying your best to stay off slop, you will have just an extra "oomf" to strive for victory with some well earned cash awaiting the victors. Normally the point of the money system is to save up for a big auction to spend all you money on later in the game. That won't be the case this time. That's where the Big Brother Store will come in. Each and every week, there will be an item up for grabs. The usefulness of these prizes will vary on a week to week basis. There will be fun prizes. There will be useless prizes. And there will be some must-have prizes. When I put an item out on the display podium, all of you will have 24 hours to place a blind bid. This means that you must post in your Diary Room (there should be a specific thread for the store and your money balance) with how much you are willing to spend. The person who has the highest bid will earn the prize and it'll be sent to their Diary Room. When the Big Brother Store comes to a close is unknown and will remain unknown. This is where your strategy comes to play. Would it be wise to hold off spending or is it worth holding out for a little while longer? It's all up to you. So when's the first chance you have to earn some money? Now. Just for being here, you all earn $50. Congrats |
