Welcome to the first nomination ceremony everyone! First, I'd just like to say thank you again to everyone who voted for me. I know everyone is really excited to get the game started and I hope I can all make you proud as HoH and make this a fun week for everyone! Even the nominees, although I'm sure they won't enjoy the week as much as the rest of us will.  Being the first Head of Household is not exactly the easiest thing to do which is why I wanted everyone involved in the decision making process. I think these nominations will reflect that. I had a really hard time deciding who to nominate, but I have come to a decision. This decision really helps try to make as little drama as possible. This decision was pretty hard and I listened to the input that I received.. but ultimately, I have to base my nominations on communication as I don't really have any other reasons to nominate anyone. As you know as Head of Household it is my duty to nominate two of my fellow houseguests for eviction. This was a very hard choice for me. I have been a target for the last few weeks and it's been hard trying to figure out who's being honest with me and who's not. The only thing we have in this game is a persons word and there are two people who I feel have been less then 100% honest with me. My decicion might not be the most popular but I can guarentee you that these are not made only with my best interests in mind but the majority of the houses wishes in mind as well! So with that..... I have heard from a few different sources who have proven reliable in the past that when the plan to backdoor me was in effect and I asked you to not use the veto to help keep me safe that you told a few people about the PM and it was brought up in a very derogatory way that you felt you didn't owe me anything and that who was I to act like we were BFF when we haven't talked much. Maybe i'm getting played but people who have had my back in the past seem to say that I have reason to worry about you. Renny, You and I have only spoken a few times through the game. As far as I remember, only twice prior to me winning HoH and both times I had to start the conversation. So it might be a safe assumption that i'm not in your long term plans since it wasn't until I won that you started messaging more. Also the first message you sent me after I won claimed that no former HoH has really included you in their plans for nominations. I have it on good source from people including past HoH(s) that you were well informed and aware of what was going on. Now that isn't to say that you necessarily backed it up or wanted me gone. But if you would hide that from me, makes me nervous what else you would hide from me. I'm sure you guys aren't happy with this decision but I took into account everyones opinions and as I was told at the start of this week I should make a decision that upsets the smallest portion of the house and so I followed that as well! I thought about my decision a lot and had a lot of people telling me what I should or shouldn't do. I was even threatened.  But in the end I have to do what's best for me. I feel like so many houseguests have alliances entangled within each other and it gets to be a madhouse when nominations happen. The way I look at it, everyone is a threat in their own way. Some are more of challenge threats than social ones. It just how it goes sometimes. You've been telling me that you consider me to be someone that you've come to trust and want to work with me. However, your actions haven't exactly proven that. I mean, you knew how I was voting last week and yet you still voted to keep Bacon. No matter what other people told you about how they were voting, you made your own choice and ultimately, its part of what has you nominated. Another reason why you're on the block is that I know you have what it takes to win. You proved that by dominating your HoH week by winning veto as well. So I know you'll fight hard too. Hello everyone and welcome to the nomination ceremony. As HoH, I have the power to nominate two house guests for eviction. Before I begin the ceremony, I would like to say a few things. First, I had to fight to win this HoH. I was picked to duel in the second round and had to fight in each subsequent round to make it to the end to win the HoH. If that doesn't say anything about my position in the game, I don't know what does. So, for me, this HoH was very important to win for my safety in the game. With it, I am going to use its power to its fullest potential and make a big move for myself in the game. Another thing I would like to use this speech for is to lay out how I perceive the house. I think that there are some players who do not have many deals and are playing week to week. Not surprisngly, these players are targeted week after week for it because they do not belong to an alliance. From what I have seen being a part of this college for the past few weeks, there are obvious alliances that have yet to come under fire and have yet to be tested in their trust to one another. I'm here this week to put to a pair of allies to the test. Before I pull the first key, I want to say something about games like these in general. Everyone plays these games and builds relationships with people - it's just the nature of the games. It's hard to break into alliances where people have had the chance to grow a relationship for years and when people acually know eachother outside of the game and has led to the eliminations of many other ORG players due to this fact. I'm the first to admit to having relationships with some people in this game that I have played with in other games. Unfortunately, for me, my impressions of you and the status of my relationship with you in previous games carry forward to games like this. With this said, I'll pull the first key. Welcome to the nomination ceremony. Winning the first HoH of the merge and the last HoH before the jury has not put me in an easy position and i have run a lot of ideas through my head. But when the pawn of the University wins his first HoH, i'm not going to sit back and just waste what could be my only reign during this game and with that said, i'll pull the first key. Jeff, you are safe Michele, you are safe. Pickle Head, you are safe Angie, you are safe. Jerry, you are safe. Memphis, you are safe. I'll pull the last key Russell, you are safe. The 2 of you are by far the strongest competitors in this game, both socially and physically, winning more competitions than anyone else left in the game and this could be the only chance i get to take out a huge threat and well, i have to take it. Hello everyone and welcome to the nomination ceremony. Perhaps Dan is prophetic, but I think he was right when he said that I would become very visible this week as a player. And, while this decision has been extremely difficult, I'm glad I have the power since it's obvious that this house is full of people who are playing this game very hard and well. I can honestly say that my mind switched back and forth as I contemplated various pairs of nominees. And, as I'm sure you all know by now, there was a lot of scrambling and people throwing one another under the bus as you all tried to ensure your safety from nomination. With that said, I am certain that, no matter what choice I make, I will be making enemies. But, at the same time, my decision has been purely strategic. I hold nothing against any of you, and I realize we are all playing the same game, wanting to make it one step farther. But, as I've told you all, my goal this week was to take out power players. Unfortunately, the decision of which players were most dangerous was far from unanimous, and, as HoH, it is my duty to make the decision for which two players will be up on the block. Basically, these nominations are a message that I want to send to everyone. There are obvious sides/connections in this house, and nobody held anything back when they shared who they wanted me to target. And, that's why I decided that my nominations would reflect the fact that I'm not just going to adhere to what one person tells me or what one side of the house wants. In doing this, I'm risking pissing of a lot more people, but I think some people have been playing all sides of this house and it's time to put a stop to that, so I feel like these nominees will force people to show their true colors, whether they are nominated or fighting for their allies to stay in this game. Russell and Jeff. I think you are both hardcore players. You have both won at least one competition, and I know you will both fight to stay in this house. Best of luck to you. I love y'all, and I don't really wanna nominate anyone But since my fellow tiebreakers suck at math (jk <3) I guessssss it's my responsibility! At this point in the game, we're all coming after each other - even our friends - which makes these next nomination ceremonies increasingly difficult. I was so happy I won this challenge because it was by far one of the hardest challenges yet. I also feel like at this point everyone probably feels about like me about winning HoHs.
