Missing: Ollie & Jordan (I'm hearing you tried to contact me, but I don't have a PM from you or any notice)
Welcome to yet another edition of "lazy results" since it's far later than I expected it to be when I posted these. Yay.
Anyway, here's what our veto contestants did. They competed in three parts that each represented a part of the timeline. One section represented the 80's & 90's, one represented the 70's, and another represented the 50's. Based on how well they did, they will earn between 1 and 7 points.
Person with the highest total at the end of the three sections will win the Golden Power of Veto. Let's get cracking.
First part was the 80's & 90's where our houseguests had to help come up with the casting to a terrible Legend of Zelda movie. To "put together" the casting for this sure-to-be cinematic flop, they were to put together a puzzle. Faster times means higher scores. Let's see what they were solving...

And let's see the finished product....
Alright. Let's see how you all did.
7 points - Memphis (7:19)
6 points - Lydia (9:51)
5 points - Braden (10:03) / Renny (10:03)
3 points - Ronnie (10:14)
2 points - Jeff (11:02)
1 point - Dan (11:49)
Memphis is taking an early lead, but Lydia, Braden & Renny aren't far behind. Ronnie, Jeff, and Dan have some catching up to do, but it's possible they can.
Okay let's see what our guinea pigs had to do for the 70's.
It was a maze. The object was to drive the Fiberweed Van to the Battle of the Bands as fast as possible. Once again, person with the best time would get the most amount of points. Person with the worst time will earn the least amount. Let's see the maze link and the finished product.
Now let's see how you all did.
7 points - Memphis (2:22)
6 points - Renny (2:52)
5 points - Lydia (3:11)
4 points - Dan (3:33)
3 points - Ronnie (3:41)
2 points - Braden (4:11)
1 points - Jeff (4:23)
Once again Memphis gets the best possible score. Let's see how the scores are looking now.
14 points - Memphis
11 points - Lydia
11 points - Renny
7 points - Braden
6 points - Ronnie
5 points - Dan
3 points - Jeff
Ok this one is clearly between Memphis, Lydia, and Renny. Let's move on to the last part.
We'll send him cheesy movies, the worst we can find (la-la-la). The object of the 50's was to go down to the theater to watch two educational shorts. These shorts, probably made by closet communists, were made to teach good family values and teach kids from right and wrong. On paper, everything looked perfect and happy in the 50's. But our houseguests were a little distracted as a couple of wisecracking robots and their friend were attempting to mock the movie despite other people being there who want to learn! Once finished with the movies, they were to take a test on the content and try to do as best as possible within 10 minutes.
The movies:
The test:
DATE WITH YOUR FAMILY
1. Why should Sister and Mother change into new clothes before dinner time?
2. Name a "don't" the narrator listed for the boys speaking with Father after work.
3. You must always wait for who to eat before you start?
4. List three "don't"s described by the narrator at the dinner table.
5. Who should assist younger children with good table manners?
WHY STUDY INDUSTRIAL ARTS?
6. List three materials that Joe likes making things out of.
7. List three tools that Joe enjoys using in his Industrial Arts class.
8. What are five occupations that Mr. Barnes mentions that especially benefit from Industrial Arts classes?
9. What are two routes you can take for more training after completing your Industrial Arts class?
10. List three ways the Coach has benefited from taking Industrial Arts classes.
Now let's see how you did.
