Posting this early cause I have a lot of work to do on it and I want it to be ready when it's time for posting.

This is gonna be a fun challenge for me

This is how the challenge will work.

There will be three parts. A 50's part, a 70's part, and a 80's part.

They will get a score of 1-9 based on their performance on all three. Once finished, they will get a total combined score and the person with the highest will win.

50's will be a test on watching typical good family values movies that were popular back then.

70's will be a puzzle/maze with a Cheech & Chong theme

80's I'm not sure of. I was going to have a Legend of Zelda theme but I wasn't sure how to do it

50's

Welcome to the first part of your Test of the Timelines. The first section of the timelines will be the 50's - a time of perfect family values. We're going to take you to the theater to watch three educational shorts: What to do on a date, how to have a successful family dinner, and why Industrial Arts are important. However, since this theater is public, try to stay focused. There's a good chance there will be some troublemaking, wisecracking robots trying to ruin the experience from everyone.

You will have all the time you need to watch the videos and study. Once you are ready, we will give you a test. Complete the test as best as you can. You will only have 10 minutes to complete the test. If you don't, you must submit what you have immediately. You will begin to get penalized if you don't.

2. Name a "don't" the narrator listed for the boys speaking with Father after work.

3. You must always wait for who to eat before you start?

4. List three "don't"s described by the narrator at the dinner table.

5. Who should assist younger children with good table manners?

WHY STUDY INDUSTRIAL ARTS?

6. List three materials that Joe likes making things out of.

7. List three tools that Joe enjoys using in his Industrial Arts class.

8. What are five occupations that Mr. Barnes mentions that especially benefit from Industrial Arts classes?

9. What are two routes you can take for more training after completing your Industrial Arts class?

10. List three ways the Coach has benefited from taking Industrial Arts classes.

Legend of Zelda sounds excellent but yea idk how exactly you could do that.

Maybe make a picture graphic or something and have them do a picture search for the triforce symbols. Have like 9 of them and see how many they can identify in a certain amount of time?

Or do a matching type game consisting of the different places, races, and maybe weapons??

Or if it's possible try to get wmvs of different songs from it and have them have to identify each one?

I pretty much expect everyone to ace it who wants the veto if you do it that way by giving them as much time as they want. So yeah I expect speed to be a factor

Trying to find pieces of the triforce is actually a pretty good idea. Think I may do that.

70's

For the period of Love & Peace, we're going to be guiding the Fiberweed Van to the Battle of the Bands. Complete this simple maze, screenshot, and upload to your favorite picture hosting site. This competition is entirely based on time so do this as fast as possible. You will earn from 9-1 points based on fastest time to slowest time.

This may be a problem and it may cause this part to drag out waaaay too long. Another problem I suspect is just the opposite where they ask for the test about a minute after so they can just watch and fill in as they hear the right answers and know what to suspect. Ruins the point.

So I've lowered the videos to two and I think I may reinstate the time limit so that people can't just watch along and fill in.

Doing the triforce one now. Decided I'm going to make it a puzzle so that the short 70's/80's portions make up for the 50's being at least 20 minutes.

Nintendo has taken over the world. After the video game crash that took up much of the early part of the decade, video games have come back to popularity with huge hits such as Super Mario Brothers and the Legend of Zelda, all brought to us by Nintendo.
